Black Snail Patterns is a small bussines in Austria specialised in historically accurate patterns. The patterns come with detailed instructions and if you still have some questions or comments, you can ask them in a Facebook group made by the lady behind Black Snail Patterns!

This is a pattern for underpinnigs for 1840-1860 clothes.

This is a sewing pattern for late Romantic or early Victorian underwear from 1840 to 1860.
The sewing pattern includes patterns for the corset, chemise and petticoat.

Fits perfect with sewing pattern #0121 and #0221

The pattern comes with detailed and illustrated sewing instructions in English oder German. 5/8” (1,5 cm) seam allowance is included, except where noted on individual pattern pieces.

Chemise: fine cotton (lawn) or linen
Corset: Coutil or other strong woven fabrics
Corset Lining: midweight cotton fabric
Quilted petticoat: cotton fabric or silk taffeta + Cotton or wool batting
