Very usefull when stitching boning channels in corsets and stays. In the case of using small boning, 5mm or smaller, you could use this tape as guide to for making boning channels. You use the width of the tape to stich along either side and create a straight boning channel. Can be used for hand or machine stitching. See photo's for examples by Serinde Costume (you can find her beautiful costumes on Instagram!) while she is handstitching her reproduction of 18th century stays. If you need wider bonnig channels, than stitch only at 1 edge and move the tape.
Handy also for fabrics which do not allow for markings by chalk or pens with dissapearing ink because they are either too dark, delicate or like velvet don't take markings. Use this tape to mark stitchlines, hem lines and more. The one sided adhesive tape can be written on, which is handy for leaving comments on your sewing work, for example with fittings.
