These 18th century reproduction stockings are made on antique machines with original patterns.
Some background info regarding lace clocked stockings:
"Lace clocks" were a result of various attempts by hosiers in the 1760s to create an openwork fabric, which led to lace clocks, then to machine-made lace. Lace had for centuries been made only by hand. A form of lace was produced on a stocking frame around 1769.
Measurements:
I wear women's shoesize EU 41, have small feet and regular sized calves and wear them without issue. These stockings will stretch up to shoesize 43 and are not suitable for those with sturdier calves. The cotton stockings are perfect if you're looking for stockings to stretch to bigger sizes.

70% Silk and 30% Nylon
Tip:
You can wash them by hand or in the washing machine on wool/delicates setting. To keep them looking their best I would dry them on the washingline.
